Letter from mom

So today I blog. Haven't done so in a while. Forgive me, i've been pre-occupied. I now have a little more time on my hands. I've rotated to the last of my three rotations....paediatrics. My day is spent 'playing' with the tiny tots. Its been good fun thus far. I've managed to escape being poo'd or coughed on, however its still early in the game.

So I received letter earlier from my mom today. Excuse the airbrushing of my address. I had to take a double glance at the title (Dr). For a second there I forgot who I was.......what I have achieved ......the effort it took to get there. Earlier in the day I schooled a pre-med student on the ins and outs of medical school. The highs and the lows. I totally forgot to mention how rewarding the accomplishment of completing so many years of study would be. I hope never to take this for granted.....
