And on the seventh day God said let there be snow..........

......and you know what, there was snow!

Without a doubt one of the most crazy ends to 2010 surrounded the whole weather situation. Disruption, chaos, tears, heartache, delays, expeditions (@ Charlesworth) all down to the fluffy white stuff.

Hated by adults, loved by children, who knew that the delicate glory could result in so much drama.

I personally loved the snow up until it interfered with working life. Outside of work, let it SNOW, let it SNOW, let it SNOW!

It is funny how everything stands still when it snows here in the UK when compared to other countries e.g. Canada.

  1. First!

    A snow dat??
It looks like you've just taken some salt from your swanky cupboards and poured it all over you balcony ledge!!

But yeah, I agree with what you say about the snow in this country. Canadians are probably laughing at us, but I think a better comparison could be Germany or Poland.

Like you, I love it when it snows... so long it doesn't interfere with your work life because unless you're a teacher, you're expected to get to work regardless!
For me, the novelty of the snow wears off once you drop in the middle of town at 6 in the evening, bags all on the floor, snow in your hair, wet patch on your arse and dignity?.... in ruins!

I hear you with the comparisons though, I guess it is unfair to compare us to canada but we (uk) lie on approximately the same latitude.
